Seeking Town of Baraboo Clerk Applicants

POSITION OBJECTIVES

The Town of Baraboo (population 1,816) seeks a skilled, service-oriented professional to serve as its next Town Clerk.  This key managerial role blends professional management with hands-on administrative responsibilities to ensure transparent and efficient municipal operations.  This position is the primary contact at the Town of Baraboo Hall and will report to the Town Board.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITES

The position involves statutory duties 66.33 of Clerk.  Duties include election administration, licensing, public records, budgeting, payroll, accounts payable, financial administration and coordinating efforts of the Town Board and committees (some evening meetings involved). Candidates with a strong accounting background are encouraged to apply.
